WORKSHOP BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Workshops are confirmed only once payment has been received. All Workshop bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed. No refunds are available for late arrivals or no-shows.

Payments may be made via PayPal or BACS. Your place is not confirmed until payment is received.

Workshops are limited in capacity. VL reserves the right to manage participant numbers and refuse entry if capacity limits are reached.

• Participation in Workshops is undertaken at your own risk • Participants confirm they are in suitable health to take part in the activity and understand their own physical limitations. • All participants are required to complete a health and safety disclaimer prior to taking part in the session. This includes declaring any injuries, medical conditions, or pregnancies. • Please ensure all relevant information is disclosed in advance so we can adapt the session where possible. • Velvet Lane reserves the right to refuse participation if a guest appears unfit to safely take part. • Participants agree to follow all instructor guidance and accept responsibility for working within their own limits. • VL and its instructors are not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow instruction or working beyond personal limits.

Where Workshops include choreography traditionally associated with heels or themed styling (for example, boots, hats or other costume elements), such items are optional unless otherwise expressly stated. Participants are responsible for selecting footwear and clothing that are suitable for dance movement and appropriate for the choreography taught. By choosing to wear heels or themed footwear, participants confirm they are comfortable and capable of dancing safely in that footwear and accept responsibility for doing so. Velvet Lane and its instructors are not responsible for injuries arising from a participant’s choice of footwear, themed attire, or inability to safely execute movements in their selected footwear. Suggested themed clothing (including but not limited to boots, hats or costume items) is optional and worn at the participant’s own risk.

Participants may take photos or videos for personal use. VL may also take photos or short videos during Workshops for promotional use. By attending, participants consent to the use of images or footage in marketing materials unless otherwise advised in writing.

Where a Workshop includes alcohol, participants must be 18+ and agree to consume alcohol responsibly. VL is not liable for any consequences arising from alcohol consumption.

Any gift, refreshments or extras included as part of a Workshop are provided at VL’s discretion. They offer no additional contractual rights beyond the Workshop itself.

• We expect all participants to behave respectfully towards instructors, venues, and other guests. • Velvet Lane reserves the right to end a session early in cases of inappropriate or disruptive behaviour, with no refund given.

• In the unlikely event that Velvet Lane needs to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will aim to provide as much notice as possible. • Where a cancellation is necessary, you will be offered the option to reschedule your booking or receive a full refund of any payments made. • Velvet Lane will not be liable for any additional costs incurred as a result of cancellation, including travel or accommodation.

• Velvet Lane is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury sustained arising from participation • Personal belongings are brought to sessions at your own risk.

• Velvet Lane reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. • The terms applicable to your booking will be those in place at the time of confirmation. • These Workshop Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

For participants under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the booking and consent form on their behalf.
