Two Generations. One Dancefloor. The Mother’s Day Dance Experience Moves & Music – Mother’s Day Workshop Empowering hits. Big female energy. Just a touch of VL sass. A unique Mother’s Day gift experience for mums and daughters to share side by side. This special 90-minute mum and daughter workshop is designed for complete beginners and those who simply love to dance. No experience necessary - just come ready to move, laugh and feel amazing together. Think empowering female anthems across the decades - the songs she loves, the songs you love, and the ones you both can’t resist dancing to. We’ll begin with a gentle warm-up, followed by simple strut combinations to help you settle into your movement and connect with your female energy. From there, we’ll build into easy-to-follow choreography with that signature Velvet Lane vibe - confident, feminine and just a subtle touch of sass. By the end of the session, you’ll have learned and danced a feel-good routine together. Wear trainers and comfortable clothing you can move in, such as leggings and a t-shirt. You’re very welcome to stay in trainers throughout, or if you’d like, you can pop on a pair of heels - but they are not compulsory. If you do choose to wear heels, we recommend a lower heel that offers good ankle support. We’ll include a couple of cocktails to toast the occasion, and leave time at the end for you to capture your own mum and daughter dance moment on your phones - a little memory to take home with you. Heels optional. Female energy mandatory. Suitable for ages 18+. Limited to 10 duos to keep the experience personal and intimate. (Participants should feel comfortable taking part in light-to-moderate physical activity. If you have any medical concerns, please seek professional advice before booking.)
