PRIVATE LESSON BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Private dance classes are booked in advance and subject to availability. Full payment is required to confirm your session. Pricing may vary depending on the studio, teacher and location. Payment is via Paypal or BACS

• Private lessons are non-refundable once booked • If you need to reschedule your private class, we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. otherwise the class will be deemed as used. A new date will need to be booked and charged as normal. • Missed sessions or no-shows are non-refundable and deemed as used. • Where possible, we will try to accommodate rescheduling requests, but this cannot be guaranteed.

If you arrive late to your session, the class will still end at the scheduled time. Unfortunately, we cannot extend sessions to make up for lost time.

Availability cannot always be guaranteed, particularly for short-notice bookings. In rare circumstances, we may need to make changes to the teacher or location - we will always communicate this with you as early as possible.

Private dance class prices typically range from £55–£75 per hour, depending on the studio, teacher and location. Prices may vary outside of the typical range where studio hire or other essential costs differ. Final pricing will be confirmed at the time of enquiry, once studio and teacher availability have been confirmed. Discounted rates may be available for block bookings and will be confirmed in advance where applicable.

Private classes are tailored to your experience and goals. It is your responsibility to ensure the class type selected is suitable for your level. If you are unsure, we’re always happy to advise before booking.

By booking a private dance class, you confirm that you are physically fit to participate. Please inform us of any injuries, medical conditions or concerns prior to your session. Participation is at your own risk.

Velvet Lane reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.

Appropriate dancewear and footwear should be worn. This is the responsibility of the participant.

Any filming or photography during private sessions must be agreed in advance with both the teacher and Velvet Lane. Content may be shared by Velvet Lane for promotional purposes only with prior consent.

All clients and participants are expected to treat Velvet Lane staff, teachers and performers with respect at all times. Abusive, threatening, inappropriate or disrespectful behaviour - including verbal, physical or sexual misconduct - will not be tolerated. Velvet Lane reserves the right to end a session immediately if behaviour is deemed inappropriate or unsafe. In such cases, the session will be considered complete and no refund will be issued.
