1. Booking, Deposit and Confirmation

Accepted Answer

All hen party bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once a 25% non-refundable deposit has been received.

A booking is not secured until the deposit has been paid and confirmation has been issued by Velvet Lane.

Question 2

2. Payment Terms

Accepted Answer

• A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
 • The remaining balance must be paid 14 days before the event date.
 • Payments can be made via PayPal or BACS.
 • Full payment details will be provided once your booking is confirmed.

Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.

3. Cancellations

Accepted Answer

We understand that plans can sometimes change. The following cancellation terms apply:

• The 25% deposit is non-refundable, regardless of when the booking is cancelled.
 • 14 days or more before the event
 The remaining balance will be refunded, minus the deposit and any non-refundable studio hire fees.
 • 4–7 days before the event
50% of the remaining balance will be refunded.
 • 3 days or less before the event
 Unfortunately, no refunds can be offered, as arrangements will already be in place.

All cancellations must be made in writing.

4. Pricing and Group Sizes

Accepted Answer

Pricing may vary per person depending on group size, as a minimum session fee applies to all hen party bookings.

The total session price will be agreed at the time of booking based on the group size confirmed at the point of booking.

If the number of participants changes after booking, the agreed session price will remain the same, and no reductions can be made for drop-outs.

Final group numbers are requested for planning purposes only and must be confirmed no later than 14 days before the event.

5. Rescheduling

Accepted Answer

Where possible, we will always try to offer a reschedule, subject to availability.

Rescheduling requests must be made as early as possible. Any studio hire fees incurred may be added to the rescheduled booking, depending on venue availability and venue policies.

Deposits may be transferred to a new date at our discretion.

Question 6

6. Health, Safety and Participation

Accepted Answer

• Participants take part at their own risk.
 • All participants are required to complete a health and safety disclaimer prior to taking part in the session. This includes declaring any injuries, medical conditions, or pregnancies.
 • Please ensure all relevant information is disclosed in advance so we can adapt the session where possible.
 • Velvet Lane reserves the right to refuse participation if a guest appears unfit to safely take part.

Question 7

7. Venues

Accepted Answer

• Hen party sessions usually take place in professional dance studios or gym studios. In some cases, sessions may take place in a bar or alternative venue space.
 • All venues are located in central locations. Velvet Lane will confirm the venue before your deposit is paid and provide available options for your chosen date and time.
 • All hen parties take place in private rooms, exclusively for your group.

Question 8

8. Photography, Video and Media Use

Accepted Answer

You are welcome to take photos and videos during or at the end of your session.

We kindly ask that if you share any photos or videos on social media, you tag Velvet Lane where possible — we love seeing and sharing your memories.

Velvet Lane may take photos or short videos during sessions for promotional purposes, including use on our website, social media, and marketing materials. We may also use any photos or videos shared with us after the event (including being tagged on social media), unless we are notified otherwise in writing before the event.

If you do not wish for images or footage to be used for promotional purposes, please let us know in advance.

Question 9

9.  Late Arrivals and No Shows

Accepted Answer

• Please arrive on time for your session.
 • Late arrivals may result in reduced class time. Sessions cannot be extended beyond the booked time.
 • No refunds are available for late arrivals or no-shows.

Question 10

10. Conduct

Accepted Answer

• We expect all participants to behave respectfully towards instructors, venues, and other guests.
 • Velvet Lane reserves the right to end a session early in cases of inappropriate or disruptive behaviour, with no refund given.

Question 11

11. Liability

Accepted Answer

• Velvet Lane is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during a hen party.
 • Personal belongings are brought to sessions at your own risk.

Question 12

12. Cancellation By Velvet Lane

Accepted Answer

• In the unlikely event that Velvet Lane needs to cancel a hen party due to unforeseen circumstances, we will aim to provide as much notice as possible.
 • Where a cancellation is necessary, you will be offered the option to reschedule your booking or receive a full refund of any payments made.
 • Velvet Lane will not be liable for any additional costs incurred as a result of cancellation, including travel or accommodation.

13. Changes To Terms

• Velvet Lane reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. 
 • The terms applicable to your booking will be those in place at the time of confirmation.
